History
A/G Technologies Inc. (AG) was created in 1995 from a merger of two South Florida
based computer networking companies, ABS Discount Computer Centers, Inc. and Gold
Coast Consulting, for the purpose of providing IT professional services to the local
small business community. SL Powers Computer Consultants, Inc., a local competitor
of AG, was acquired in March 2000 and we have been doing business under the name
SLPowers ever since. Our company has continued to grow organically and by way of
strategic acquisitions.
In 2005, we acquired Gator Technologies of Boca Raton, Florida and in 2007 we acquired
MICRO-FIX in Atlanta, Georgia. Today we have approximately 30 employees, with offices
in South Florida and Metro Atlanta, and our customers are across the U.S. and the
Caribbean.
In 1998, the AG team began developing the "flat rate maintenance contract". Our
program covered unlimited maintenance, as well as any hardware failures, all for
a flat monthly fee. As IT professional, we understood that customers preferred to
pay for things to work, not each time that something was broken. Our program eventually
grew into our award winning IT management and continuity platform, Guaranteed Networks®.
Today, we are 100% focused on Guaranteed Networks®, and its associated suite
of evolving offerings, and SLPowers has been recognized by the computing industry
as a pioneer in managed services.
